1. Prelude To Darkness (The Rise of King Leoric)

from The Tales of The Skeleton Lord by Ravenkeeper

/

about

THE BEGINNING, BEFORE LEROICS' FALL TO EVIL...
Those who have heard my second album know that the intro was a 8-bit cover song of a Diablo II track. However, this time its different - why? Because I want everyone who enjoys this type of music/story-telling to see, hear, read, imagine the "personality" of the album so to speak. I've been working on my own short-stories revolving around the "Ravenkeeper LORE" < as I title it > and when I came up with this Tolkien/Diablo based D&D campaign when I was 16 - I didn't think I would end up coming up with an entire set of short-stories with the last few years of being a "teen" - but I did! Hence the re-imagination of my second album, don't think of it as making a sequel, to a sequel but more so an entirely new and different approach to a sequel... if that makes sense..

lyrics

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them,
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
